Last month LMEDAC held the world’s first Fistula Cadaver Lab.
The aim for all LMEDAC courses is to increase anatomical and surgical knowledge in order to reduce errors and adverse events, improving patient outcomes worldwide.
The course was aimed at attendees who have a great interest in increasing their surgical skills and knowledge of the pelvic floor. The course specifically focused on Fistula repair, urethral reconstruction and anatomy. It was a busy two days for attendees and Faculty in both hands-on sessions and interactive discussions.
Attendees traveled from Australia, Africa, North America and Europe, many different skills and experiences came forward, and there were many interesting topics being discussed. The exchange and interaction not only with Faculty, but also between highly skilled and experienced attendees made the course even more valuable to everyone. There are already discussions about a follow up course, following requests from attendees.
LMEDAC has an internationally renowned group of Faculty, and attracts attendees from across the world to its courses. It is ICS Recognised, a member of The G4 Alliance for Safe Surgery and offers CME/CPD points for their courses.
